Applications of PTO Shaft

PTO shafts are widely used in various fields such as:

  • Agricultural machinery: They connect tractors to equipment like mowers, harvesters, straw crushers, sprayers, mixers, etc.
  • Industrial equipment: PTO shafts drive rotating equipment like pumps, generators, centrifuges, mixers, etc.
  • Transport equipment: They drive certain transport equipment like trailers, semi-trailers, and tow trucks.
  • Solar systems: PTO shafts are used to rotate and adjust tracker photovoltaic panels.

Adjusting PTO Shaft Length

To adjust the length of a PTO shaft:

  • Remove the plastic protective cover.
  • Shorten the inner and outer tubes according to the required length.
  • Remove burrs with a file.
  • Shorten the inner and outer plastic tubes according to the required length.
  • Oil the inner tube of the steel pipe and reinstall the drive shaft plastic protective cover.
